CCRR Services for Child Care Providers
The Sooke/Westshore Child Care Resource and Referral offers support, information, training, and resources to:
Registered license-not-required (RLNR) child care providers.
Licensed family child care providers.
Licensed in home multi-age child care.
Group child care centers.
Those registered with the CCRR are eligible for parent referrals from the CCRR.

In addition, the Sooke/Westshore CCRR assists individuals who are interested in becoming a Registered License-Not-Required Care Provider.
Registered License-Not-Required (RLNR) Child Care Provider
RLNR care providers may care for up to two children in their home, in addition to their own children.
By registering with a Child Care Resource and Referral program, RLNR care providers can access support, information, training, and resources to enhance the quality of their child care program. CCRR services include:
Start up and operating information
Listing on a registry of caregivers
Supportive home visits and Healthy and Safety Inspections
Professional CCRR Consultation and Support
Child Care Playgroups in Sooke
Family Child Care Training Courses
Workshops and networking opportunities
Special Appreciation Events
First Aid courses
Regular CCRR Newsletters
Access to child care resources such as infant/toddler equipment, toys and library materials
Referrals to community resources
Access to/information regarding low-cost liability insurance
Business services (fax, photocopy, laminate, computer access, etc.)
