General Resources

2. CCRR Services for Parents

At the CCRR, we recognize the hard work and challenges that the parenting role may bring. Therefore, we strive to provide information in the following areas: how to select a daycare that best fits your family’s needs, Affordable Child Care Benefit information, Resource Lending Library, and Toy Lending Library.

Affordable Child Care Benefit Information:

  • You can obtain Affordable Child Care Benefit Application paperwork and receive assistance with filling out the application (either online or hard copy) at the Sooke/West Shore Child Care Resource and Referral sites.
  • We can photocopy and fax applications and documents.
  • If your License-not-Required provider is registered with your local CCRR, parents may be eligible for a higher subsidy rate. (Please check with your provider).

Please note: If you would like to contact the Affordable Child Care Benefit program directly, please contact MCFD Affordable Child Care Benefit Service Centre:

1-888-338-6622 (8:30am – 4:30pm)
